The Denmark, Wisconsin community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Breanna Krueger, 32, and her newborn daughter, Wrenn Lee, who tragically passed away following a crash on August 22, 2026. Their deaths have left family members, friends, and loved ones grieving the loss of a mother and child whose lives, though far too brief together, brought immense love and joy to those around them.

Breanna was born on September 20, 1993, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Pat and Diana Umentum. A lifelong resident of Denmark, she graduated from Denmark High School in 2012 and built a life centered around family, friendships, and her community.

Throughout her working years, Breanna contributed to several local businesses and organizations, including Susters and DeGrand’s Family Restaurant, Bay Lake Bank, Cellcom, Capital Credit Union, and most recently Martin Security. Those who knew her remember not only her work ethic but also the warmth and kindness she brought into the lives of others.

Breanna’s greatest happiness came from being a mother. Her relationship with her husband, Nic Krueger, began during their high school years before they became engaged in 2020 and married in 2021. Together, they welcomed their daughters, Lainey Mae in 2023 and Harper Lee in 2025.

Their youngest daughter, Wrenn Lee, was born in August 2026 and was loved from the very beginning. Although her time with her family was tragically short, Wrenn’s life represented hope, love, and a cherished addition to the Krueger family. She will forever be remembered as a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and family member.

Those who knew Breanna describe her as someone with a contagious laugh, a bright smile, and a caring personality that made people feel welcomed. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, getting her nails done, and creating memories with the people she loved most.

Breanna was also remembered as a loving godmother and aunt who brought happiness and comfort to those around her. Her humor, kindness, and genuine nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Family members continue to hold onto memories of Breanna’s adventurous personality and the stories that reflected her vibrant spirit. The moments they shared with her will remain treasured reminders of the love and joy she brought into their lives.

Breanna is survived by her husband, Nic; daughters Lainey and Harper; her parents, Pat and Diana Umentum; her in-laws, Curt and Mary Krueger; her brothers, Tanner Umentum and Derrick Umentum; extended family members; friends; and many others who loved her deeply.

The family has expressed gratitude to the staff at Aurora Medical Center and Green Bay Fire/EMS for the compassion and care provided during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements have been announced. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home in Denmark, Wisconsin. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

In place of flowers, memorials will be established to benefit Breanna and Nic’s daughters, Lainey and Harper, honoring Breanna and Wrenn’s memory while supporting the future of the children they leave behind.

As the Denmark community continues to grieve, Breanna Krueger and baby Wrenn Lee will be remembered for the love they shared and the happiness they brought to their family. Their lives were tragically shortened, but their memory will continue to live on through the people who loved them.

May Breanna Krueger and Wrenn Lee rest peacefully. May their family, especially Nic and their children, find strength, comfort, and support during this unimaginable time.
