GROTON, Conn. — A fiery multivehicle crash on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge in Groton, Connecticut, caused a temporary closure of the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 early Thursday morning, August 27, 2026, as emergency crews responded to an overturned vehicle and a vehicle fire.
